Today, Sunday January 30th, 2011, the Catapillars and the Butterflies learned about Jesus when he walked on the water. We learned that Jesus told the disciples to go into the boat and go across the water and He would meet them later. It had become dark and the wind began to blow, making the waves rough, Jesus knew what was happening and He went to them. The disciples saw something coming towards them, a shadowy figure, and they began to worry, saying it was a ghost. And they herd the figure cry out and say, “it is I do not be afraid.” Peter wanted to go with Him on the water, and he began to walk, he took a couple steps, then realized he ws walking and began to worry, he started to sink. He cried “help me Jesus.” Jesus reached out His hand and helped Peter, and said,” you didn’t trust me.” They walked back towards the boat and the rest of the disciples began to bow. We learned that you must keep your eyes on Jesus, it is very easy to sink/fall.
