As believers in Jesus Christ, we have been given a resurrected life, one Jesus intended for us to live for Him. This was the plan! However, Christian life has become an existence more than a life! We just exist here, in this world, unrecognizable simply because we refuse to actually live for Christ! This is what Paul was saying in Philippians 1:21 “to live is Christ, and to die is gain!” We selfishly want to exist to die so we can gain eternal life. A life of passivity!
