When a believer makes a commitment to Christ, He receives that and expects a return. Jesus led the multitudes from place to place and performed many miracles, this was surely exciting and amazing to see, but the moment He demonstrated the power and authority He wields, everything changed! So did Jesus trick us? No! We know who He is and we know His power and authority! Why then do we make our commitment to be worthless? We might have counted the cost, but when we encountered the cost, we bailed! We missed the point of it all!
