Christmas is upon us and as we prepare to enjoy this holiday and spread joy and the message of Christmas to our friends and neighbors, let us first recognize why we celebrate the birth of our King! From a worldly perspective, a king is a ruler of not land but of a people! He offers protection and leadership and provision. He requires of His people, trust, support and recognition. If we apply that same logic to Jesus we might find that this Christmas has some more meaning than just the birth of Jesus!
