Action movies are great entertainment! I especially love the cop movies or shows. All this tension and violence ends with the police surrounding the bad guys and forcing them to give up! Strategically they forced them to give up, to surrender! Today, I see this same surrender in the church! People needing to be cornered and basically forced into submission and surrender to God whatever was gripping them. This is not surrender!! Surrender has purpose and the lack of change in the lives of believes stems from this wrong understanding of surrender!
