The_Death_Of_Lazarus

We as believers in Christ find our identity in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. This is who we are now. Romans 6 tells us all about this! Our old man is crucified with Him, we are united in the likeness of His death; these are not arbitrary but revelatory. If we identify with His death, then we can also identify in His resurrection, but too many of us want to accept His death without paying the same price and move on to the resurrection. Unfortunately, without the first, the second in not applicable as resurrection can only be applied to that which is dead.
