The Gift of Blessings

Being blessed or one who has blessings upon them usually is treated as having favor. In today’s society this favor is usually attributed to one’s capacity to earn wealth, or their belongings. Jesus taught us in Matthew, however that those who are blessed are meek and suffer for righteousness sake. What are blessings then, and where do they come from? Well, they are a gift from our Father who pours out blessings, however with the expectation that we BLESS those around us! The gift of giving that which we receive!
